Guatemala Finca Pampojilá
In 2025 our founder Jeff went on an origin trip to Guatemala with one of our importers to meet coffee producers and to learn about this growing region. While he was away, he sent us many reports of the incredible single origin coffees there that he wanted to bring to our line-up back at home. We keep a cooperation washed Guatemalan coffee on hand all the time that we use in our blends and we also love as a single origin, and we’re excited to bring you a farm specific microlot as well!
This coffee comes from Finca Pampojilá, a farm founded in the 1850s by Manuel and Monica Diaz. After tropical storm Agatha, the Diaz family decided to sell their farm to Agropecuaria Atitlán. The sale rejuvenated the farm and Finca Pampojilá is building new infrastructure, growing more varieties of coffees, and practicing new processing techniques.
At the cupping table we were really struck by just how sweet this coffee is, like syrup. The first thing you’ll taste is rich milk chocolate and hazelnut, underneath is a super ripe strawberry note that really makes this coffee nice and balanced. We can’t wait for you to try this coffee!
