Real regular Brioso consumers know that we LOVE the Kayon Mountain farm and their coffees, we try to get at least one a year! This year we picked this honey process from the farm and we are excited to have it on bar. It’s worth the wait once you have that first sip! 

The Kayon Mountain coffee farm is located in East Guji, employing over 300 people during the harvest season. The farm provides more than good paying jobs for their community, they also fund building projects for schools and other administrative buildings in the area. 

Honey processed coffees are pulped and then dried on patios, kind of in between washed coffee processing and naturals! The flavor imparted on them is distinct and super delicious. We’re tasting on the cupping table really intense cocoa and dark berry juice. We were pleasantly surprised at how low acidity and deep this coffee tastes and we think it would be an excellent pourover with a nice long extraction or a super juicy espresso.
