Brioso Coffee was founded in 2001 by Jeff Davis as a downtown coffee roastery and café. Since then, we have grown into two cafes and a roastery with a strong retail and wholesale presence at our shops and online. We deeply value quality and excellent service to all our customers and having a strong team is essential to this experience.

About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic coffee professional to join our Production Department in the role of Production Assistant. This role is best for someone with great organizational and communication skills to help our team with order fulfillment and delivery. While we love seasoned professionals, we are also happy to provide coffee training to the right candidate.

Essential Functions:

·      Package and fulfill orders: prep all bags with label, date and grind settings. Fill all bags and seal for retail, e-commerce, and wholesale.

·      Delivery and reconcile all orders: Fulfill home deliveries, wholesale deliveries, and drop off packages to mail carriers daily. Reconcile all orders in Shopify at the end of the day.

·      Team Collaboration: Clear communication with production staff about daily tasks, customer service issues, and inventory needs.

Other Duties:

·      Customer service and email: Provide excellent customer service as needed in shop to retail customers. Respond to support email and solve issues for ecommerce customers.

·      Cleanliness of workstations: Maintain workstations cleanliness and tidiness throughout workday. 

Qualifications and requirements:

·      Detail oriented and strong organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

·      Ability to meet physical demands of Production Department roles includes lifting to 50lbs solo and 150lbs with a team

·      Ability to use relevant apps and websites for order fulfillment and delivery route planning

·      Strong communication skills and teamwork

·      High school diploma or equivalent

·      Current driver’s license and clean driving record 

Schedule and required availability:

·      30-40hrs per week

·      Availability during Production Department hours: M-F 8:30a-4p and some evenings for special events/orders

·      Available for up to 3hrs of delivery driving at a time daily

Compensation and benefits:

·      Pay rate starts at $15/hr

·      Full time (30+hrs) are eligible for health insurance options
